Roles & Responsibilities:
- Carried out Data Analysis on multiple NGS sequences like 16s/18s/ITR amplicons, shotgun metagenomes, and whole genomes (bacteria/viruses).
- Sampling, DNA extraction, library preparation, and sequencing using Illumina (MiSeq/HiSeq) and Oxford Nanopore (MINion).
- Set up and managed Linux-based high-performance computing infrastructure, created bioinformatics pipelines, and provided guidance to PhD students.
